Importing Files
Open Guitar Pro, MusicXML, or MIDI files directly — Reflow converts them to its native format. Some advanced formatting may be simplified during import, but notes, tracks, and structure are preserved.
MIDI Import — When you open a MIDI file, an interactive import banner appears at the top of the score. Tap Settings to configure track mapping (assign MIDI channels to guitar, bass, drums, or keyboard tracks), choose the quantization level, and select channel mode (per-channel or per-track splitting). Tap Reimport to apply changes. Per-note velocity, timing offset, and duration are preserved from the original MIDI data.
The Export Sheet
Use File > Export on Mac or the share button on iOS to open the export sheet. The sheet shows format cards — tap a format to configure and export:
- Web Share — generate a temporary web link with an interactive score player. See Instant Web Share for details.
- MusicXML — universal notation exchange format. Open your scores in Dorico, Sibelius, MuseScore, Finale, or any MusicXML-compatible application.
- Guitar Pro — export as Guitar Pro 7 (.gp) or Guitar Pro 5 (.gp5) for sharing with Guitar Pro users.
- PDF — paginated score for printing or sharing (iOS only — on Mac, use File > Print).
- MIDI — standard MIDI file for use in DAWs.
- Audio (WAV or M4A) — rendered with the built-in SoundFont engine.
The last-used format is remembered. Use the Skip muted tracks and Selected tracks only toggles to control which tracks are included.
Printing
On Mac, use File > Print to open the standard macOS print dialog. On iOS, tap Share and choose Print.
Evaluation Limits
The free version includes a light watermark on PDF and Web Share exports. All exports are limited to the first 10 measures. A one-time purchase removes all limits permanently.
